Member of the defunct SM Militants, Joint 77, has blasted rapper Pope Skinny for speaking ill about Beyonce’s ‘Already’ video with Shatta Wale.
After Beyonce released the ‘Already’ video on Friday, August 31, Pope Skinny had a Facebook Live session and said the American pop star never came to Ghana to shoot the video with Shatta Wale.
Pope Skinny said it was Beyonce’s mother who came to Ghana in December 2019 during the Year of Return but Beyonce herself was not in the country.
Pope Skinny alleged that every scene in the music video that shows Beyonce was in Ghana has been photoshopped including the scene where a dancer was seen dancing with her.
He said Shatta Wale should bow down his head in shame because he had embarrassed Ghanaians.
In a new video sighted by KwasiAboagyeLive.com, Joint 77 said Pope Skinny should channel his rant onto something else.
He said what Pope Skinny is talking about is a big disgrace for him adding that if he has a problem with Shatta Wale, he should say it and stop talking about his feature with Beyonce.
He said Shatta Wale deserves accolades for his achievement and not condemnation.
