A video available to KwasiAboagyeLive.com indicates that staff at the Sunyani Regional Hospital blood bank have abandoned the unit.
The video shows that not even a single person was there to attend to patients’ needs.
The man, who filmed the 1 minute 37 seconds video walked through the entire unit and saw only empty offices which were all unlocked.
According to the unknown man, a family member donated blood to be given to his sibling so he went to the blood bank to inform the authorities that they needed the blood.
He indicated that he went there three times but found no one to speak to.
