Too many girls have tried to tie me at the Nogokpo shrine- Timaya reveals

Nigerian artist Timaya has made a bold statement, asserting that many women have attempted to bind him at the Nogokpo Shrine in Ghana’s Volta Region.

Taking to Facebook, the hitmaker shared photos depicting himself adorned in traditional agbada attire, striking poses beside a sleek black Tesla Cybertruck. While the first two images showcased Timaya’s charismatic presence, the third one revealed the Nogokpo shrine itself, clarifying the essence of his post.

In his caption he said, “Too many Gals don try to go tie me 4 Nogokpo!!” followed by “SHE SAID PAPI… 😂GLADIATOR.”

The Nogokpo shrine, nestled in the serene village of Nogokpo within the Ketu South Municipal of Ghana’s Volta Region, holds a rich historical heritage dating back to its visionary founder, Torgbui Saba Tritriku Agbo. Saba’s valorous deeds as a war captain and his spiritual journey to Dahomey, where he acquired Zakadza, the Yewe god of thunder, are intricately woven into the village’s lore.

Renowned for its efficacy, the Nogokpo shrine draws both local inhabitants and visitors from afar, all seeking resolution for their destinies or retribution for wrongs endured. However, despite occasional jests about its potency, locals admonish against trivializing its significance, as invoking its name lightly may arouse the ire of its divine forces.
