A lady finally returned from abroad after ten years but sadly, her father couldn’t recognise her.
Overwhelmed with emotions, Patchi had returned to Nigeria without informing her father, intending to surprise him with her presence.
The heartfelt moment was captured on video, which Patchi later shared on TikTok, showcasing her journey to her family’s home.
Captioning the video, she wrote;

The footage depicted her seeking directions from kind-hearted strangers as she made her way to the house.
Arriving in a tinted-glass vehicle, Patchi’s unexpected arrival caused confusion among her family members, particularly her father, who failed to recognise her at first.
It was only after a loved one intervened and introduced Patchi that her father’s confusion dissipated, and he finally realized that the tomboyish person standing before him was his long-lost daughter.
Overwhelmed with joy and relief, Patchi and her father embraced, shedding tears of happiness as they held each other tightly.
However, amidst the joyous reunion, Patchi shared the sad news that her mother had passed away during her time abroad.
The bittersweet moment served as a reminder of the preciousness of family and the importance of cherishing every moment spent together.
