KwasiAboagyeLive.com has gathered that former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie well known as Sir John who passed on Wednesday night, died of COVID-19 related complications.
News broke on Wednesday night Sir John, who was a stalwart in the NPP had died.
Reports say he died at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital’s intensive care unit.
The cause of his death has been finally revealed as COVID-19. He tested positive for COVID-19 and was reportedly in critical condition at Korle-bu.
Until his death, Sir John was the CEO of the Forestry Commission of Ghana.
