Award-winning Ghanaian Dancer Danita Akosua Adomaah Yeboah popularly known as Afronitaaa discussed the growing influence of Afro-dance and its global appeal.
In the recent episode of Young and Fabulous, featuring dancer who doubles as brand ambassador emerged as one of Ghana’s promising and popular female dance personalities, boasting a substantial following of 1 million on Instagram, over 300 thousand subscribers on Youtube and 3.1 million on TikTok.
In the latest episode, she said, “Everyone wants to learn Afro. Afro is the future. I think Ghana has influenced Afro-dance; people come from Asia and other continents to learn Afro-dance in Ghana. It shows that our influence is wide, and we are pushing Ghanaian culture.”
Afronitaaa rose to stardom when she started dancing at age fourteen and joined Dancegod Lloyd’s Dance With Purpose (DWP) academy.
