You’re not his maid, stop cooking and washing for your boyfriends – Actress cautions

Popular Ghanaian actress and film producer, Kafui Danku, has advised women who are yet married but enjoy cooking and cleaning for their boyfriends to desist from doing so.

The actress opined that men tend to have serious relationships with women they have invested time and money in.

She stressed the significance of maintaining independence and individuality, cautioning unmarried women against becoming maids for their partners.

Kafui believes that men should put in effort and work for what they desire in a relationship. She questions why women should readily fulfill a man’s desires without him demonstrating genuine commitment and investment.

The actress to a greater extent advised young ladies to avoid being overly available or too accommodating, as this might inadvertently diminish their value in the eyes of their partners.

She stated that “Before he gets what he wants, he must work for it. Men only stay when they invest their money and their time. Why would he pamper you if he doesn’t spend his money or time, and you give him what he wants so quickly? Why do you go and cook and clean? Are you his maid? If you are a wife, then, of course, you are taking care of your home. But if he hasn’t married you, why should he marry you when you do all these things?”
