Actress Akofa Edjeani aims for Hollywood

Popular Ghanaian actress Akofa Edjeani is aiming to achieve in her long years of acting, is to be cast in a Hollywood movie.

Akofa’s desire also extends to playing ‘action’ in a Hollywood thriller since has she always looked forward to the opportunity to explore her acting flexibility.

Speaking in a recent interview with Graphic Showbiz on the sidelines of the book launch of “The Lady In Boots” recently, the ‘I Sing of a Well’ said she’s got what it takes to be in Hollywood, Akofa expressed her ambition to make a mark in Hollywood. She sees this as an opportunity to not only further her career but also to represent Ghana’s rich culture and talent on the global platform.

Confident in her abilities, Akofa believes she has achieved all she can in the Ghanaian film industry. Her desire is to challenge herself with diverse and exciting roles in Hollywood, especially in action-packed thrillers that have always ignited her passion.

With a successful career in Ghanaian cinema, including roles in popular films like “Not My Daughter,” “For Better For Worse,” “Dirty Tears,” among others, Akofa is now setting her sights on the international stage.

Her international experience, such as her role in the British-Ghanaian award-winning movie, “The Cursed Ones,” has already showcased her ability to excel on the global stage.
