2015 Ghana’s Strongest runner-up Courage Kofi Adukpo on Sunday, July 17 clinched this year’s title.
The Tema-based athlete beat competition from three others to win the bragging rights.
He was crowned the winner after the finals at the Oceanic Beach Resort in Korle Gonno, Accra.
Nicknamed ‘Who said Tweaaa?’, Adukpo got the highest marks after the four events on the day.
Though Damian Smith from Pig Farm in Accra began on a bright note by winning the Car Pull event, Adukpo, who missed last year’s title by a whisker, pulled away after the Keg Toss, Dead Lift and Tyre Flip events.
First runner-up Smith was named the Most Disciplined athlete in the reality show for the flex of muscles and strength.
Nima-based Ousmanu Mumuni Dabri also known as John Cena was the 2nd runner-up. He was also awarded the Athlete with Proper Mental Strength.
Ahmed Boakye, who placed fourth, was named the Discovery of the Season.
Adukpo walks away not only with the title belt but also GH¢13,000 and souvenirs from sponsors.
