Ghanaian celebrities have taken to doing charitable works on their birthdays and musician/entrepreneur, Diamond Appiah has continued the trend.
Last night, at an event to mark her birthday, Diamond surprised music producer Fred Kyei Mensah, popularly known as Fredyma with a car.
Fredyma was a victim of the June 3 flood and fire disaster, losing all his property. He had been relying on public transport since then.
According to him, trotro had been his source of commuting until the Aayalolo bus rescued him.
Diamond gave him a brand new KIA Soul during the event held at her new house.
In a Facebook post, Fredyma revealed how Mark Okraku Mantey and others called him to come for the party, without giving him a hint.
Fredyma was not the only beneficiary as Diamond Appiah gave the same brand of car to veteran actress Grace Omaboe popularly known as Maame Dokono.
