Traces of blood were spotted on the street some meters away from where his lifeless body was left by the mob that attacked him.

The incident attracted a large number of people to the scene, causing a huge vehicular traffic build up on that stretch of road around 6:15am as drivers slowed down on reaching the crime scene to catch a glimpse.

The police has since taken the body off the street to the morgue and traffic resumed to normal.

Residents in the area have reported series of theft cases in recent times, with stolen car tapes and car batteries being the common ones.
