“Expect more taxes and pain; Sam George and allies won’t suffer much.” – Nana Ama Agyemang Asante on the Anti-LGBTQ bill passage.

Media personality, Nana Ama Agyemang Asante has weighed in on the anti-LGBTQ bill, expressing her concerns.

She pointed out that Ghanaians, who are already burdened by numerous taxes, should brace themselves for even more financial challenges once the bill is passed.
According to her, sponsors of the bill, including Sam George, won’t experience the same hardships as the citizens celebrating its passage.

In a post on the X app, she stated, “Those who think Ghana has too many taxes and support that odious bill should know that things are about to get worse. Expect more taxes. You haven’t seen anything yet when it comes to pain. By the way, Sam George and his allies won’t suffer much.”
