There has been a general outage affecting Facebook. The outgate started around 1500GMT on the 5th of March 2024 and seems to affect all users..
As of the time of this report, Meta, the parent company of Facebook has not released any notice on their social handles.
The issue has affected the Facebook app itself, and Instagram. Whatsapp however is working fine.
Facebook has suffered downtimes in the past and the parent company has ruled out any attempted hack of the platform. We are yet to know if this incident is internal or external related.
