In a recent podcast interview with Mpoomy Ledwaba, Cassper Nyovest, the famous South African rapper, talked about some tough parts of his life. He shared that he had struggled with a problem called sex addiction, which caused a lot of issues in his relationship with Majozi, the mother of his child. This problem even led to them breaking up.
During the interview, Nyovest admitted that his addiction had become a big problem, making it hard for him and Majozi to stay together. Despite these difficulties, he mentioned that he has found a new faith and is now a born-again Christian. This change is a big deal for him, showing that he realizes he needs to be a better person.
Nyovest also shared that he has been single for two years since breaking up with Majozi. This time alone made him think a lot about his past actions and made him realize that he needed to change the way he thinks. He admitted to being a bit full of himself in the past and said he wanted to be more humble now.
“I created a serious mess. I hurt my baby mama so much. We broke up, and I have been single for two years.
“I was addicted to sex and sexual immorality in general. I had such a big ego, and I thought I was better than everyone else. I was humble in the sense that I was a good person, and I didn’t offend anyone. I was headed straight for hell if I didn’t have that wake-up,” he said.
