Kennedy Agyapong in trouble for biting high court judge

Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central Constituency, Kennedy Agyapong has found himself in hot waters after insulting a high court judge.

In a conversation with a TV station over ongoing land case in court, Kennedy Agyapong is said to have “scandalized” and “threatened” the judge who is known as Justice Amos Wuntah Wuni.

The outspoken MP threatened the court by extension and he is reportedly summoned for contempt after allegedly calling the judge “stupid” and claimed he gave a judgment given without his knowledge.

Report says the judge issued a warrant for Kennedy Agyapong on Wednesday September 9, 2020, to appear on Monday September 14 at 10:00am.

Mr Agyapong is expected to “show the reason why he should not be severely punished for contempt, if the matters are proven against him to the satisfaction of the Court.”
