Kwabena Kwakye of Oman FM reportedly died shortly after radio show

Oman FM’s beloved host, Wofa KK ( Martin Kwabena Kwakye), sadly passed away after hosting the radio shows “Boiling Point” and “National Agenda” on the morning of February 14. He also worked as a reporter for Net2 TV.

According to Kencity Media, Wofa KK died at 11:10 am at the University of Ghana Medical Centre, but the cause of death hasn’t been shared yet. The statement from Kencity Media , signed by the Family, Group Chairman Hon. Ken Agyapong, C.E.O Mrs. Stella Wilson Agyapong, and the Kencity Media Ltd team, expresses deep sorrow at his sudden loss.

In 2017, Wofa KK’s influence expanded as he was appointed to the GNPC Board by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, operating under the chairmanship of Freddie Blay. This marked a significant acknowledgment of his expertise in the political and media realms.

Wofa KK’s distinctive voice on the airwaves earned him respect, often stepping in for main hosts and contributing substantially to popular programs. Before gracing the airwaves at Oman FM, he made notable contributions to Adom FM and served as a correspondent for Net2 TV, showcasing his dedication and versatility in journalism.
