President John Mahama says he has received reports on the Paebo explosion and is studying it.

He explained that an appropriate compensation would be given to those who deserve it soon.

The president was reacting to recent press conference by residents and Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri Frank Annor Dompreh for neglecting them at a rally at Adoagyiri in the Eastern Region.

The Paebo explosion occurred in December last year, killing two persons.

Residents were displaced and had their houses destroyed.

Some had their businesses affected too.

They recently called for urgent government support to start over again.
