The Ghana Police service is surely having a busy day today. First with the release of the k-9 unit, the search for Shatta Wale, and now the arrest of comedian and dethroned “Children President” Funny Face. Funny known in private life as Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng went on a video rant and made threats against persons that he alleges have slept with his baby mama.
Funny Face in the video listed a few celebrities including Criss Waddle, Bismark the joke, James Gardiner etc. He also threatened the LGBTQ community by saying he will enter any pub they are and gun them down. He claimed God has selected him to lead the removal of all gays and lesbians in Ghana.
On top of that, Funny threatened to kill himself after shooting his baby mama 7 times in the head. Here are photos of his arrest and the official police statement.

Funny Face in Police Custody for Allegedly Threatening Some Individuals. The Police have today, Monday, 18th October 2021, at 10:14 pm arrested Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, popularly known as Funny Face for allegedly threatening certain individuals via some Social Media platforms. Due to the history of the suspect, the police shall submit Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng to the court for an order for psychiatric examination, to determine the next line of investigative action. The police is committed to protecting lives with the generous help of the public. We want to assure the public that we shall not take anything for granted in the interest of public safety.
