A renowned Ghanaian radio presenter, Michael Boateng, otherwise known as Mike 2, has retracted a statement he made about Selly Galley following a public backlash.
After actress, Selly Galley cursed a lady for calling her ugly and a barren woman, Mike 2 in a post on Facebook questioned if she has accepted to be barren.
His comment was heavily criticized by many Ghanaian social media users.
After he had an extra thought about his post, Mike 2, who plies his trade with Adom FM withdrew his statement.
He explained that he did not have any intention to hurt Selly Galley in the midst of her issue with the Instagram user, Henewaa Piesie.
Mike 2 wrote: “Yes I did not mean to harm anybody on the comment I made today, I was taking it from different opinion which didn’t go well with many people… Statement retracted…tnx folks…”
