UK-based Ghanaian musician, Reggie Zippy has taken to social media to voice out his frustration about how he hasn’t been allowed to see his children for almost a year.
Recall that a few months ago, Reggie’s marriage to his ex-wife Edith Ward came to an end after 15 years.
After their nasty divorce, Reggie who claims to be taking good care of his kids said he can’t fathom why he is being denied from seeing or talking to them and he is close to giving up on the battle to see his kids.
“For how long should a father continue trying to re-establish his relationship with his children after the breakdown of marriage? Because at this very moment, I am very close to giving up on this unfair battle and focusing on the next chapter of my life.
“I am only human and GOD knows how much I have tried to do right by my children, their mother and entire families both mum and dad sides,” he shared.
The “Adoma” hitmaker declared to accept his loss and move on with his life if he is not allowed to see his kids before the end of this year.
“If I don’t speak with my children by 31st DECEMBER 2023, I will accept my losses and consider myself as a DEADBEAT DAD from 2024 and beyond because even GOD KNOWS WHAT I HAVE BEEN THROUGH SINCE January 2007 till date. I Love you DIOR🩷, I Love you NOLAN💙 and I Love IKHON❤️,” he added.
