Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey is on the exit radar of Arsenal according to football transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

The well acclaimed transfer expert indicated this via a statement on his Twitter page in the lead up to Partey’s participation in Ghana’s 2023 AFCON qualifier against Madagascar at 14:00 GMT

A win guarantees Ghana a place at the next Africa Cup of Nations competition.

However, Romano did add that the former Atletico Madrid player is courting interest from clubs.

“Understand there’s concrete chance for Thomas Partey to leave Arsenal this summer. Clubs are interested and there are discussions about his exit” he tweeted.

Despite starting out his third season on a blistering note, Partey’s form tailed off in the latter part of the 2022-2023 campaign coinciding with Arsenal’s late title chase collapse.

Partey played in 40 games in all competitions this past season and scored three goals with all three goals coming in the English Premier League.

The 30 year old is signed through the 2024-2025 season with The Gunners. Fellow veteran midfielder Granit Xhaka is also expected to leave Arsenal this offseason.
