Ghanaian musician Black Sherif won the Best West African Artiste at the 16th Headies on Sunday, September 3, amid pomp and pageantry.
Black Sherif beat his fellow countrymen Camidoh, Gyakie and The Therapist from Liberia to adjudge winner in the Best West African Artiste category.
The award ceremony tagged “Celebrating African Renaissance,” was hosted by Nollywood actress cum producer Osas Ighodaro and American actor and media personality Terrence J, which was held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, USA.
Odumodublvck, Ayra Starr, Rema, Young Jonn, Wande Coal, Kcee, Black Sherif, Asake, Johnny Drille, FireBoyDML, KCee and others thrilled the audience with electrifying performances.
