Liberty Professionals’ juvenile goalkeeper, Issaka Mohammed, is reported dead after crashing head-on with a striker during a football match Sunday.
According to ghanasoccernet.com, the 18-year-old was playing in a local area game known as ‘Sunday Special’ with a select side at the Aquinas Park in Accra where the incident occurred.
Issaka was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival, the sports website reported, adding, “Details are scanty”.
