Even before he is installed as the President of Ghana, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, flag bearer of the Progressive People’s Party, reveals he has already identified persons he would govern the nation with.

Though he would not mention names, he was emphatic that they are distinguished Ghanaians who cut across the entire political divide, and simply the best the nation has.

Dr. Nduom would be leading the PPP into a major election for the second time in November 2016 after his failed attempt to annex the presidency in 2012. He had previously tried with the Convention People’s Party.

Speaking to Bright Nana Amfoh on TV3’s New Day Monday, Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom maintained the nation has retarded in its progress because of the winner takes all which is common with successive governments.

He said he has tried and tested all-inclusiveness in all of his numerous companies and has worked perfectly for him: he selects only the best to work with.

“I want the best,” Dr. Nduom insisted attaching seriousness in his resolve to replicate that in his government.

“I know which people in NDC, NPP, CPP, independent and no party that I am interested in,” he stated.

Having served as a minister under the kufuor-led NPP administration between 2001 and 2008, Dr. Nduom is confident he “Know how to fix challenges of all inclusiveness”.

ELECTION OF DCE

Metropolitan, municipal, and district chief executives tend not to be responsive to the needs of people under them because the people cannot decide their fates, Dr. Nduom asserted.

It is for this reason that he insisted that MMDCEs should not be appointed but elected by the people.

Restating his consistency in calling for the election of MMDCEs, the PPP flag bearer recalled how people came to him with their problems whilst serving as an assemblyman because the appointed DCE then did not listen to them.
