Rapper Medikal has sparked controversy on social media by sharing details about his troubled relationship with his baby mama, Fella Makafui.

In a series of Snapchat posts last night, the ‘Omo Ada’ singer revealed several issues involving Fella Makafui. Among these revelations, he claimed that Makafui underwent cosmetic surgery, including a tummy tuck and buttock enhancement, to promote her slimming tea and waist trainer business. Medikal mentioned that he initially advised her against the surgery, suggesting that he could hire models with ideal body figures to serve as influencers or ambassadors for her products, especially since she had recently given birth and was not feeling her best.

However, Makafui refused to speak to him for nearly four months until he relented and paid for the procedures.

“You told me about your business. You wanted to do waist trainer and skincare. You told me about it and I was like, ‘Cool, I’ll support because you’re my woman,'” he stated.

Medikal also revealed that, despite public belief that Makafui produces her own products, she actually orders them from Alibaba.com.

“If not for that lady (Fella Makafui), I wouldn’t know about Alibaba Express. That’s where you order your products. You made me understand how the website works, so I supported with money.”

He recounted how, after the birth of their child, Makafui felt that her business marketing would not be effective without surgery to achieve a “snatched” body. Medikal noted that she didn’t speak to him for three to four months due to this issue until he finally agreed to her undergoing the surgery. He described how she went to Nigeria for the first surgery and was unreachable because she was under anesthesia and in a coma, which worried him until she returned.

A few months later, she requested to go to Turkey for additional procedures, which he again agreed to out of love and concern for her and their child.

“As loving, caring, and stupid as I am, I was like, ‘Cool, how much is it?’ So I ended up paying X amount of money for the surgery in Turkey, paying for your hotel, paying everything. Almost 25,000 euros or more,” he added.

“I’m so heartbroken right now because I wanted to let things slide. I was very thoughtful and have emotional intelligence because the woman I chose to be with is the mother of my child. I do not want some sensitive issues out in the open that will dent her image and affect our child and myself, but I’m just seeing so many things online.”

He also mentioned feeling unsafe in his own home, referring to documents and a letter to the CID indicating his concern for his safety. Medikal added that his closet is detached from the house, leading to instances where he unintentionally walked naked to get dressed, sometimes in front of Fella’s cousin.

Furthermore, Medikal shared that Fella hasn’t cooked for him in two years of their four-year marriage, and on the X app, he revealed they haven’t had sex for almost a year.

“The chef cooks for me because Fella doesn’t cook. She said she’s no longer married to me. Even before that, it’s been almost two years since she stepped in the kitchen. So I always order food, or the nanny, being so good to me, cooks for me, or I get food outside. Sometimes my manager brings me food. That’s how I survive in my home,” he said.

However, last night, Medikal took to Snapchat to reveal many secrets about his home life. Although he claimed he didn’t want to disclose his baby mama’s sensitive issues, he shared significant details.

According to Medikal, Fella stopped wearing her ring because she threw it away during a trip to Dubai—a trip he didn’t know about until he saw it on blogs.

“You traveled to Dubai without my knowledge; I found out from a blog because we were not on speaking terms at that time due to some strange reasons. Upon your return, I noticed you weren’t wearing your wedding ring. When I asked about it, you told me our marriage was over because you heard rumors.
“I tried to reconcile multiple times, but when I asked about the rumors, there was no substance or proof. You threw the ring away and just wanted us to co-parent,” he said, adding that he had neither cheated nor done anything to warrant a divorce.

He added that Fella Makafui physically abused him on several occasions. He described an incident where she jumped the wall to their home after hearing a rumor that Medikal was having an affair. He recounted how she poured a cup of coffee on him, struck his head with the cup, smashed his laptop, and hit him with a hanger. He mentioned that he called the police to intervene that night. He also clarified that he has never raised his hands or gotten physical with her.
